Wagener Holiday Park

Listed as number 3 of New Zealand's top 10 classic camping grounds by the NZ Herald, Wagener Holiday Park is on the edge of the beautiful Houhora Harbour and is renown for all the activities of a traditional NZ family camping holiday.

Just 30 minutes north of Kaitaia on the way to Cape Reinga the motorcamp features an Historic Homestead, beautiful gardens, fishing and boating facilities, powered and non-powered and harbour view or secluded sites, cabins, and full camping amenities. There is an area specially set aside for campers with pets and there is a hot, private indoor spa pool. Other facilities include wi-fi, bbq’s picnic tables, a gazebo, laundry and car/boat wash facilities.

We have Kayaks, fishing gear, bikes, sand and body boards, and golf clubs for hire. The famous West coast 90 Mile Beach is 12km drive through the Aupouri Forest.

We aim to provide visitors with a quality authentic classic NZ family beachside camping experience and can organise Cape tours.
